About Us

Our Philosophy

At Little Bunny, we welcome children and their whānau into a safe, trusting, and respectful environment where they will be loved and acknowledged with warmth by friendly, professional staff.

We are passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, caring environment where children can grow at their own pace. We value Manaakitanga-demonstrate caring and respect for the resources that are theirs to explore and play with. We endeavour to create an environment which is inclusive of natural materials in order to foster respect for nature and encourage children to make their own discoveries and theories.

We partner with all our children, whānau, colleagues, and the wider community, developing genuine, caring relationships based on open communication and respectful interactions. – “Whanaungatanga, interdependent relationships.

At Little Bunny, we believe that the bi-cultural heritage of New Zealand is very significant. We acknowledge Te Tiriti o Waitangi as the founding document of Aotearoa New Zealand and are committed to embracing our bi-cultural heritage. We believe in supporting the individual heritage and cultural identity of each child and their family.
